Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Speedruntrading (sole trader, Sweden), org. no. available on request (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on speedruntrading.org (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. It applies to the Site only and not to any third-party website you reach from it.
1 What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to recognise your device on subsequent requests. Similar technologies — such as local storage — store data in your browser for the same purposes. In this Policy, “cookies” covers both.
Cookies may be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted. They may be set by us (first-party) or by a service we use (third-party).
2 Our legal basis
Under the ePrivacy rules as implemented in Sweden and the GDPR, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested may be set without your consent. Any cookie that is not strictly necessary — for example analytics, advertising or profiling — requires your prior, informed and freely given consent.
Accordingly, we ask for your choice on first visit. The strictly necessary cookie in clause 3 is set regardless, because the Site cannot sign you in without it. Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories is set unless and until you select Accept all. Selecting Necessary only leaves those categories switched off, and the Site remains fully usable.
Your choice is stored in your browser under sr_consent, together with the date it was given, as our record of consent. You may withdraw or change it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer; withdrawal takes effect immediately for anything set after that point.
3 Cookies we set

Without this cookie you cannot remain signed in, and purchased Bundles and lesson progress cannot be associated with your Account. It is therefore essential to a service you have requested.
4 Optional categories
The following categories are set only with your consent. Where a category is marked not currently in use, no such cookie is set today even if you have accepted it; the category is declared so that your choice is already recorded and respected when the service is introduced.

Before any provider in these categories is introduced, this table will be completed with the specific provider, cookie names, retention periods and any transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA, together with the safeguards relied on for such transfer.
5 Third-party cookies during payment
Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. When you begin checkout you are directed to Stripe’s own hosted payment page. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain, under its own privacy policy and cookie policy, for purposes including payment processing and fraud prevention. We do not control those cookies and cannot set or read them.

6 Other storage used by the Site
Certain pages may store small preferences in your browser’s local storage (for example, which items you have ticked off in a checklist). This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
7 Fonts and external resources
The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Requests to that service transmit your IP address to Google as a technical necessity of delivering the file. Google Fonts does not set cookies when serving font files. If you prefer to avoid this, you may block the domain in your browser; the Site remains usable with fallback typefaces.
8 How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. The relevant controls are usually found under Settings → Privacy. Note that blocking the cookie listed in clause 3 will prevent you from signing in and from accessing purchased Content. To change the choice you made in the consent dialog, use the Cookie settings link in the footer rather than your browser settings.

9 Your rights
Where cookies process personal data, you have the rights available under the GDPR, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 10 Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or to legal requirements. The version in force is the one published on this page, identified by the date above. Where we introduce a new provider or purpose in a category, we will update the tables above; where the change is material, the consent version is incremented and you will be asked to make your choice again.
